The application presented here is developed in response to contest held by Apps for Democracy. This mobile application is a beta version of our application.

Major changes:

• Added facebook integration
• Added a Hall Of Fame feature
• Added a picture optimization feature. The picture is properly oriented, scaled to 700x500 and compressed for faster uploading
• Added a facebook widget with the same functionality
• Added a Google Map feature to the facebook application
• The backend application is hosted on Google Application Engine
• The backend downloads zip updates from http://data.octo.dc.gov every hour in order to add a short story with a resolution to the user's news-feed on facebook
